Overview

Course Number: 6000204252

As the senior population continues to expand—now representing nearly 20% of the total U.S. population—the financial demands on government programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security are intensifying. This demographic shift presents significant challenges to the long-term solvency and sustainability of these programs, directly impacting both public spending and private insurance markets. Through this course, agents will explore the evolving landscape of senior healthcare and financial needs, examine current and emerging trends in Medicare participation and spending, and gain practical insights into how these developments influence product offerings and client guidance. The goal is to equip agents with the knowledge and context needed to better serve the growing senior market while maintaining compliance and promoting informed financial decision-making.

This course is approved by the South Carolina Department of Insurance for Continuing Insurance Education Credit.
