Learn how to recognize modern threats like phishing, synthetic identities, and data breaches, while mastering proven strategies to prevent fraud, safeguard sensitive information, and respond quickly if your identity is compromised. Course Objectives

  1. The agent will understand the most common and emerging forms of identity theft, including financial, medical, and synthetic fraud, and how they impact clients.
  2. The agent will learn practical strategies to help clients prevent identity theft, protect sensitive information, and reduce financial risk.
  1. The agent gains the knowledge to guide clients through recovery steps, including fraud alerts, credit freezes, and reporting procedures.
  2. You will recognize key regulations such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and how they affect client privacy, data protection, and insurance practices.

Registration

Register early to reserve a seat. To reserve a seat in the class, registration must be accompanied by payment in full. Phone in your registration before class date. Payment by credit card will be required for phone registrations.

Walk-in registrants will be seated only if space is available. Discounts are not available to Walk-in registrants. Walk-in registrants must arrive at least 30 minutes before class time.

NO LATE ARRIVALS WILL BE SEATED. IT IS THE LAW!

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Brewer Insurance School reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a class if the class has less than 20 students enrolled.

Certificates

Approved Sponsors of approved courses are required to provide a certification of course completion to each individual who successfully completes an approved course within thirty (30) business days after the course is completed. Verification of the accuracy of the certification provided by the approved sponsor remains the responsibility of the producer. (SC Reg 69-50)
